"This world is Hell... we are in Hell"

Just remember, as my mother June used to tell me... "This world is Hell... we are in Hell". That is a direct quote. She was raised Christian, but always free thinking, college educated. She took her three young kids out of school in Atlanta to walk in Martin Luther King's funeral procession. The principal called her in and cussed her out. She gave him back what he had served her and took us out of that school. 

Mama always told me that this was hell and we had to be good and fix the problems here to get out. I believe "Thy Kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven" means that we can bring heaven to earth. And if you look at the hell people have gone through here before, then the work we have cut out for us is not too much to ask.

Maybe if I take this hat back to the store where I bought it, like in an episode of the Twilight Zone, I'll come home and it will still be 2019...

The end of air travel as we know it.

Many of the things that we're doing to combat this pandemic are the same things that we need to do going forward to avoid future pandemics. Air travel between foreign countries especially overseas inculcate whatever bacteria or disease is brewing in one area with another area, very far away and unaccustomed to the nature of the inculcating area. We need to have testing for all foreign travelers and brief periods of quarantining, even moving forward, even from now on. 

Many and most other things can begin to return to normal and stay normal as we monitor our situation going forward. I mean most businesses restaurants etcetera. But foreign air travel is the dynamite that we have to control in terms of potential spread of future illnesses that develop in various parts of the world.
